ABOUT MICHAEL SHORT
Michael Short is the Co-Founder of Michael Short, LLC and MIKE30.ORG. Michael is a Middle Linebacker playing in his Junior year of football at UNC. Michael attended Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, NC under Coach Kennedy Tinsley who also played at UNC. Michael started both his Junior and Senior years earning himself a variety of post season awards including 2022 Mallard Creek Football Defensive MVP, 2022 South Charlotte Sports Report Linebacker of the Year & All State Honors.
Michael is passionate about special needs kids and under-privileged youth. He believes every child should have an opportunity to be a kid unhindered. He also believes, regardless of age, every one who is a kid at heart should never stop believing in their dreams!

In his spare time, Michael enjoys creating his own music, lifting weights, making people laugh and being a kid. Michael is a kid at heart, who loves the Lord, who loves people, who loves his family, and is passionate about the game of football. Nothing makes Michael more happier than playing football!
Raised a majority of his life in North Carolina, Michael is originally from Columbus, Ohio. Michael has an older brother (Elijah) and two older sisters (Cierra & Cortisha). Michael is the youngest son of Nicole and Courtney Short. A family that prays together stays together.
